God’s Court

God has given us the spiritual weapon of convening the court of God.  This court is convened in
His presence.

This is NOT a court where we bring our complaints and murmurings against God.

Job 9:32 "For He is not a man as I am that I may answer Him, That we may go to court
together.

This scripture is saying that man may not take God into court to bring accusation against Him –
we can not bring accusation against Him in any court.

Jeremiah 49:19 "Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan
against a perennially watered pasture; for in an instant I will make him run away from it, and
whoever is chosen I shall appoint over it. For who is like Me, and who will summon Me into
court? And who then is the shepherd who can stand against Me?"

This scripture is again saying that man can not call God into any court to bring accusation
against Him.

The court of God is not for us to bring complaint against our God – for what man can summon
God into court to be judged.

God alone stands as the righteous judge.  God judges and is not to be judged.

Psalm 50:6 And the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself is judge. Selah.

This court does NOT convene to bring complaint or accusation against man.  Our complaint and
accusation is not against a man – our complaint and accusation in the court of God must be
against the demonic forces behind their behavior and action.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of
wickedness in the heavenly places.

This court convenes to bring your complaint to God against the enemy and his demonic horde.
This court convenes for you to bring to God your complaint and charge against the enemy and
his demonic horde that has been harassing you and stealing what belongs to you.

Let us see how God’s court is convened.

Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places
in Christ Jesus,

We in Jesus have been seated in God’s presence in the heavenly places. Seated with Him in the
heavenly places means we have a seat before the very presence of God   We have the right to
come boldly before our God and sit in our seat in His presence in the heavenly places through
the finished work of Jesus.

Isaiah 14:13 "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne
above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.

The KJV says the “mount of the congregation.”  Who are the assembly and the congregation of
God?  We the body of Christ is His assembly and His congregation.

In this verse (
Isaiah 14:13) Satan is speaking.  Satan wanted to sit on our seat we possess in the
heavenly places.  This seat is called the mount of the assembly.  The seat on the mount of the
assembly belongs to the body of Christ.  It is our seat before Him in the heavenly places.

God’s court will be convened when we come before Him and are seated in His presence in the
heavenly places on the mount of the assembly.  From this seated position in His presence we
ask God to convene His court.  God convenes His court at our asking.

Psalms 121:1-2 (KJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Why does our help come from the hills/mountain?  Our help comes from the hills/mountain
because we are seated on the mount of His assembly in His presence in the heavenly places.
Our help comes from the hills/mountain because God’s court is convened at our asking and He
pronounces His righteous judgments, verdicts and decrees on our behalf.

We find a convening of God’s court in
Daniel 7

Daniel 7:9-10 "I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His
seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne
was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire.
10 "A river of fire was flowing And
coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads
upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened.

God’s court was convened as God Himself sat as judge.  We take our seats before Him in His
court on the mount of the assembly.

Daniel 7:26 'But the court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away,
annihilated and destroyed forever.

God’s court is convened for judgment.  When God’s judgment is pronounced in His court satan is
reminded that his dominion was taken away at the cross of Jesus Christ.  When God’s judgment is
pronounced the enemy is reminded that his end is annihilation and destruction that will last forever.

God convenes His court at our asking.  When the court of God is convened we ask God to bring before
His presence satan and the very demons that have harassed, attacked and oppressed us, our families,
and those we love.  We bring them before God to lodge our formal complaint and accusation against
them.

We find a picture of the angels of the Lord, satan and the demonic spirits being in the court of God in
1
Kings 22,  Job 1:6
and in Ephesians 6:12.

1Kings 22:19-22  Micaiah said, "Therefore, hear the word of the LORD. I saw the LORD
sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by Him on His right and on His
left.
20 "The LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?' And
one said this while another said that.
21 "Then a spirit came forward and stood before the
LORD and said, 'I will entice him.'
22 "The LORD said to him, 'How?' And he said, 'I will go
out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He said, 'You are to
entice him and also prevail. Go and do so.'

The Lord was sitting on His throne --God’s court was being held.  All the host of heaven were
present -- angels as well as demonic spirits were present before the court of God.  We can know
that demonic spirits were present by the fact that a spirit volunteered to be a deceiving spirit in
the mount of Ahab’s prophets.  Only an unclean spirit can be a deceiving spirit – God does not
lie and no lie can be found in Him.  Satan is the father of all lies and is a liar.  This was a demon,
an unclean spirit that volunteered to be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of Ahab’s
prophets.   Angels as well demons presented themselves before the court of God.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before
the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

The sons of God presented themselves before God and satan also came among them into the
presence of God.

Revelations 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and
the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the
accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day
and night.

I personally believe that before the cross of our Lord Jesus satan could present himself before
God as he willed and make accusation against the brethren.  I believe he can no longer freely
come before the presence of God because he has been throne down.  The above scripture says
NOW the salvation, the power, the kingdom of God and the authority of His Christ have come.  I
believe we walk in and possess each of these right NOW.  If these are ours now, then the
accuser of the brethren being cast down and out of the presence of God must also have already
been accomplished and completed.  I believe this was completed at the cross.  I believe satan
can no longer freely present himself before God.  I do believe that satan must present himself
before God when he is commanded to enter into the court of God at God’s command.  I believe
God will command his presence on our behalf as we have accusation and complaint to make
against him.

Matthew 5:21 "You have heard that the ancients were told, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT
MURDER' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.'

Satan as a murderer is liable to the court of God.  Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy – he
is liable to the court of God.  I believe God will command satan to come before His presence and
be liable in God’s court for his actions against us God’s people.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of
wickedness in the heavenly places.

I’ve read this verse and quoted this verse many, many times.  I always understood that these
spiritual forces were not in our physical realm.  I now see this verse with new eyes.  Now, as I
read this verse I see that my battle is against spiritual forces of wickedness in the court room of
God as I am seated in heavenly places.  This scripture says my battle is against spiritual forces
of wickedness in the heavenly places.  I believe one of the ways to battle satan and his demons
in the heavenly places is through the court room of God.

I believe this scripture also proves the fact that in the court room of God angels and demonic
unclean spirits are present.  As I said before I believe the satan and his demonic unclean spirits
can not come as they will but only when they are commanded to by God on our behalf.

God will convene His court on our behalf at our asking.  God will command satan and his
demons to come and stand before His presence at His court.  God will pronounce His righteous
judgment and verdict upon them there.

Our next step is to now lodge a formal complaint against satan and his demons before the
presence of our God.

We present before God in His court our complaint against the enemy regarding all harassment,
all hindrances, all oppression, and against every attack that is taking place in our lives, the lives
of our families, and loved ones.  We lodge our formal complaint of all that is coming against us
and contradicting the prosperous and abundant life the Word of God says we are to live.

God’s Word tells us that He desires to hear our complaint.

Psalms 64:1 Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; Preserve my life from dread of the
enemy.

Psalms 142:1-2 I cry aloud with my voice to the LORD; I make supplication with my voice
to the LORD.
2 I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him.

David lodged his complaint against the enemy before God.  We also lodge our complaint
against the enemy and his demonic horde before God in His court.

God will pronounce His judgment over the enemy and his demons.  God will judge and give us
His people justice.

Psalms 82:1 God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the
rulers.

God stands in our midst – His congregation - and He will make righteous judgments on our
behalf against the enemy and his demonic forces.

Deuteronomy 32:40-41  'Indeed, I lift up My hand to heaven, And say, as I live forever, 41
If I sharpen My flashing sword, And My hand takes hold on justice, I will render vengeance
on My adversaries, And I will repay those who hate Me.

God will execute justice on our behalf.  God will render His vengeance upon satan and his
demons who are God’s adversaries.  God will repay satan and his demons for all their torment,
harassment, and oppression of us God’s people.

Psalms 9:4  For You have maintained my just cause; You have sat on the throne judging
righteously.

Psalms 9:7-8  But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment,
8  And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples
with equity.

Psalm 72:2 May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.

God will judge with righteousness.  God gives us His people justice against satan and his
demons.  He does so as He pronounces his judgment, His verdict and His decree against them
on our behalf.

Psalms 146:7 Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The
LORD sets the prisoners free.

God executes His justice for us against every demon that oppresses us, our families, or of our
loved ones.

Psalms 7:6 Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift up Yourself against the rage of my
adversaries, And arouse Yourself for me; You have appointed judgment.

God will appoint judgment for us in His court room.

Psalms 17:2 Let my judgment come forth from Your presence; Let Your eyes look with
equity.

Our judgment against satan and his demons comes forth from the presence of the Lord where
we are seated in His court room in His presence in the heavenly places.

How often can we come to God’s court and ask Him to judge satan and his demons?

Psalms 7:11 God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day.

We can come every day and ask for His justice and His judgment on our behalf.

The book of Ezra tells us some judgments a king made through the counsel of God.  I believe
these judgments will allow us to see the judgments God will make on our behalf.

Ezra 6:6-7 "Now therefore, Tattenai, governor of the province beyond the River, Shethar-
bozenai and your colleagues, the officials of the provinces beyond the River, keep away
from there.
7  "Leave this work on the house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and
the elders of the Jews rebuild this house of God on its site.

I believe one judgment God will pronounce is a verdict of “keep away from there.”  I believe God
will pronounce a verdict telling satan and his demons that they must keep away from us, our
families and our loved ones.

I also believe one judgment God will pronounce is a verdict of “leave this work alone.”  I believe
this is a decree sent forth by God for churches and ministries to go forward unhindered and
complete the work that God has for them to accomplish.  We see the Jews were able to
complete the rebuilding of the house of God without further hindrance.

Ezra 6:8  "Moreover, I issue a decree concerning what you are to do for these elders of
Judah in the rebuilding of this house of God: the full cost is to be paid to these people from
the royal treasury out of the taxes of the provinces beyond the River, and that without delay.

I believe another decree that God will make on our behalf is for satan to repay all that he has
stolen from us, add seven fold to it, and pay it back to us without delay.

I am ready to receive back all satan has stolen from me without anymore delay.  I am glad that
this is one of God’s verdicts on my behalf.

Ezra 6:9  "Whatever is needed, both young bulls, rams, and lambs for a burnt offering to
the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and anointing oil, as the priests in Jerusalem
request, it is to be given to them daily without fail,

The Word of God tells us that the riches of the wicked are stored up for the righteous.  I believe
one decree God will make on our behalf is for our plundering of the riches of the enemy.  I
believe by God’s decree we can make daily request to be paid out of the riches of the wicked
that God has stored up for us.

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, And the
wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

Ezra 7:26  "Whoever will not observe the law of your God and the law of the king, let
judgment be executed upon him strictly, whether for death or for banishment or for
confiscation of goods or for imprisonment."

I believe this scripture again speaks of the judgments God will pronounce against satan and his
demons in His judgment.  God will execute judgment upon the strictly.  God can bring forth a
decree of death, banishment, confiscation of goods or imprisonment.

We saw in
Ezra 6 decrees of banishment and confiscation of goods, these are once again
confirmed here.

Romans 16:20 (KJV)  And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under you feet shortly. The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Crush in the Greek means to utterly defeat, to bring to helplessness.  I believe another verdict of
God pronounced against satan is for his crushing under our feet.  I believe God pronounces a
judgment that makes satan helpless and utterly defeated on our behalf.

I have only found one requirement on our part to enter into God’s court – forgive!!

Matthew 5:22 "But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty
before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty
before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into
the fiery hell.

I believe we must forgive all whom we are angry with in our hearts.  I believe we must do so to
not be found guilty ourselves before the court of God.

Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you.
15  "But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive
your transgressions.

I believe that we must also examine and see whom we are still speaking about - still speaking
about their wrongs done to us.  I believe this is what is being spoken of in this scripture where it
says we are calling our brother “good-for-nothing.”  I believe this is still a mouth speaking the
wrongs of others from the past.

I believe when we are at the point of speaking “you fool” against another that we are in the “gall
of bitterness” that Peter spoke to Simon about.

Acts 8:23  "For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity."

I believe that God is telling us in Matthew 5: 22 that we must forgive and release all anger, all
grudges, and all bitterness.  I believe God is telling us that we have not totally forgiven if we are
still talking about the wrongs that others have done to us.  I believe we must choose to forgive
all these before we enter into the court of God.

Let’s review the steps we are to take in convening and taking part in God’s court.

1)  Forgive all those you have anger at in your heart.

Forgiveness is only accomplished in human flesh by the work of God.  Our part is simply
choose to forgive and He, God, will work the work of forgiveness in you.  I truly believe it is
impossible for human flesh to forgive.  I truly believe forgiveness is only possible in us through
the work of God.  He is waiting on us to choose to forgive and He will come and work
forgiveness in us.

Simply ask the Lord to show you any you are still bearing anger against in your heart.  Ask Him
to speak to you whom you are still speaking about – still speaking about their wrongs done to
you.  As He shows you each one say, “I choose to forgive and I ask You to work the forgiveness
in me.”  He will do so.

2)  Ask God to convene His court on our behalf.

3)  Ask God to command satan and his demons which have been harassing, hindering and
oppressing you, your family and your loved ones to be present before Him in His court.

4)  Lodge your formal complaint against satan and his demons to God the righteous judge.

5)  God as the righteous judge will judge satan and his demons.  God will pronounce His
sentence, His verdict, His decree upon them.  It all is now in God’s hands to judge and do as He
would on our behalf.
